Proifera
Porifera is classified under the class of sponges. There are multicellular organisms which are sedentary in nature. Most of them are marine while a few are fresh water forms. Their bodies are cylindrical, asymmetrical or they have radial symmetry. They feed through being filter feeders by filtering water. They can reproduce sexually or asexually. They have cells and tissues but not a lot of body cavity. They come from the groups consisting of Hexactinellida, Demospongia, and Calcera which are glass sponges and calcareous sponges. There all also many more groups that are not directly related to the Porifera. There are thousands of different kinds of species that are all related to teach other in the sponge family.
